Description:

Located in the heart of the 5000 acre national park on St. John, Caneel Bay is situated on 170 acres encompassing seven secluded white sand beaches. Casually elegant rooms offer an open air design for the cooling tradewinds each with beach or garden views. Design for the cooling tradewinds each with beach or garden views. In order to ensure a state of relaxation guestrooms and suites are free of telephones/televisions/ and other distractions.

Complimentary to all guests are use of sunfish sailboats and kayaks/windsurfing/snorkeling gear/and an introduction to scuba diving. Also included are use of tennis courts and racquets, use of fitness center, managers cocktail receptions, nightly movies presentations, early morning coffee/tea/juice and continental breakfast.

Other activities available at an additional charge are jeep excursions, full day hihckley sail, buccaneer beach barbeque/sunset cocktail cruise, guided snorkeling tours, boat charters, self drive powerboat rentals, and scuba diving and instruction.

Hotel amenities: airport greeting, welcome bottle of private label rumand mixers, use of sunfish sailboats/kayaks and snorkeling gear, introductory scuba diving clinic, use of tennis courts, weekly tennis round robins, aerobics, use of fitness center, horticulture tour, underwater slide show, nightly movie presentations, rum tasting demonstration, early morning coffee and afternoon tea, twice daily housekeeping service, and managing directors cocktail reception.

Resort has 166 luxury rooms built in 1956 and total refurbishment in 2007.
